Gentle protection
NEXGARD SPECTRA given monthly provides optimum protection all year round from fleas, worms, ticks, and mites. NEXGARD SPECTRA is perfect for rapidly growing puppies because of its monthly treatment frequency, and is safe in puppies from as young as 8 weeks of age and weighing 2 kg.
Kills fleas fast
Because NEXGARD SPECTRA is an oral treatment, it is absorbed quickly and starts working rapidly, for fast relief for your dog. In two studies, NEXGARD SPECTRA killed 100% of existing fleas in just 6 hours and over 98.5% of newly acquired fleas within 12 hours for a full month1,2. NEXGARD SPECTRA can be given with or without food and isn’t affected by bathing or swimming. Plus, it’s safe for you and your family to handle your dog immediately after treating.
Kills intestinal worms
NEXGARD SPECTRA provides excellent protection from roundworms, hookworms AND whipworms. As with most products for treating worms in dogs, only worms present at the time of treatment are killed. After that, dogs can pick up new worms. Roundworm is an important species to protect against. Once in a dog, a female roundworm can start shedding eggs within 4-5 weeks. These are a zoonotic risk to humans, so it is important to de-worm monthly to minimise this risk.
